For our department Technology we are looking for an:

Engineer Mechanical Development (m/f)

Essential Responsibilities
  • Development of engine components, systems and technologies from concept and into production for both the ongoing development of current product and new products yet to enter our product portfolio
  • Organsiation of special component procurement for testing on either development engines or rig test facilities. Continuously communicate with both the internal manufacturing facilities and the external sourcing departments to ensure efficient project execution
  • Assist the reliability department with the collation and analysis of reliability and performance information from pilot field fleet engines. Report the results out to key stake holders within the development and reliability departments
  • Assist the field validation team by the undertaking inspections of engines/components within the field, both to assess the normal durability of components and systems in addition to analysis of damaged /failed components in order to determine the root cause of the failure
  • Support for production related issues, cost reduction exercises, as well as the technical support of various engines within the field
  • Ongoing documentation and presentation of development results through short presentations and reports in both German and English
  • Work on individual projects and extended projects within a team.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or similar specialization
  • 2 years experience with the mechanical development of reciprocating engines
  • Proven organisational and data analysis skills
  • You are comfortable in an international environment and have convincing oral and written communication skills in both German and English
  • Willingness to travel.
