We are looking for engaged Power Electronics Experts and/or Hardware designers, who will work on defining the next generation technology and products based on customer requirements.

• Your responsibilities:

As an Application Engineer IGBT, your main responsibility will be to work out the key advantages of our leading edge IGBTs technologies in major target applications such as Home Appliances and Photovoltaic Inverters, by understanding customer trends and application roadmaps. By providing demo-boards and reference design, we seek to generate differentiation potential for our solutions both on power semiconductor side, power architectures and topologies.

The active support to our lead customers on a world-wide basis by providing recommendation on how to use our latest products in the most beneficial way is also one of your responsibilities. Your know-how will be shared globally in experts’ circles and trainings for our world wide sales force and is documented in application notes. Your findings shall be also published in papers and articles provided to respective media and industry events such as PCIM.

In this position, your view on the market and its trends will influence decisions on the next generation of power semiconductor devices.

• Qualification Requirements:

We are looking for self-driven, confident and a goal oriented technical experts who drive their professional career along challenging targets.

You have a university degree (diploma or above) in electrical engineering.

Several years of professional experience in the design, the testing, the hardware or software generation of power converters for the following fields:
• Motor control for Consumer (Washing machines, Refrigerator, funs, pumps..) or Industrial (Automation, robotics) applications
• Solar and other renewable Energy systems (Wind machines, turbines)
• Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
• Welding
• Consumer applications like Microwave Oven, Induction Heating
• High Power SMPS for Telecom applications
• and the selection, testing, the in-circuit utilization of power devices like IGBT, Power Mosfet and Diodes
