This position will be responsible for establishing, maintaining and further developing an environmental, health and safety culture as part of operational excellence within SBU C. HOERBIGER Strategic Business Unit C is currently facing several challenges including changing customer requirements, volatile market conditions and saturated markets with regard to existing products and services. To ensure the company’s position as market and technology leader, SBU is focusing on a benchmarking EHS performance that will be implemented in all plants and service branches throughout the world – including EU, ASIA and USA.
Three years from now, HOERBIGER SBU C will be known for its EHS culture and supported by an EHS organization that is safety oriented, environmentally friendly and focused on improvement. To ensure a structured and systematic approach, the company will certify all of its C production plants and major service branches worldwide in keeping with an environmental management system and according to various ISO standards. In addition to developing an EHS culture within SBU C, other goals will include establishing a global EHS network for production and service, achieving a high level of customer satisfaction regarding the EHS performance and supporting plants/sites in achieving proper compliance management for applicable EHS laws and regulations.
The Global Director EHS will be primarily responsible for supporting all plants and sites within SBU C in creating compliance management in keeping with applicable EHS laws and regulations; encouraging committed EHS personnel to achieve the EHS goals/vision; raising awareness for EHS; ensuring an EHS audit system is created and executing EHS in a timely manner. Furthermore, the person will support the Supports Global Head of QEHS in the execution of EHS programs, initiatives and management directions. Based on wage structure agreements, we are offering a monthly salary starting at € 5,000 gross, depending on individual qualifications and experience, in addition to an optional performance-related bonus.
